OT WORKSHOP | Swarga Foundation

A 3-day workshop on Occupational Therapy – Art of Improving Quality of Life was organized by Swarga Foundation in collaboration with Coimbatore Parkinson’s Foundation and Indian Institute of Foundries, Coimbatore Chapter at COINDIA Auditorium.

Dr. J Bhuvaneswaran, Medical Director of PSG Super Specialty Hospitals, Mr. Sathyamurthy Chinnaswamy, VP of Aquasub Engineering, Dr. Ramamurthy and Principal of PSG Physiotherapy College graced the inauguration.

180 participants who were physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, patients and caregivers gained insights from experts in the field and explored practical application. Dr. Subhash Apte (President Awardee), Dr. Arul Selvan, Dr. Paranthaman Sethupathi and Swarnalatha were the speakers who covered various topics like origin of Occupational therapy, recent technology advances in Parkinson’s disease, work ethics and mental health of therapists.
