AWARENESS PROGRAM – MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Swarga Foundation @ IBM, Bengaluru on May 12, 2016. Swarnalatha shared her experiences dealing with adversities post diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and how it hindered her personal and professional aspirations; her transformation into a highly-productive individual and the birth of Swarga Foundation. The team gave a standing ovation to her speech and presentation. One hour presentation touched through the subjects like prioritizing the family, work and social responsibilities. Her talk aimed at motivating the team to lead fulfilling life. We thank the management and Ms. Shylaja Jujare for providing us this opportunity.

World Multiple Sclerosis Day @ San Jose, US

A fundraiser was conducted by the Thanjavur Deshastha Marathi Mandal (DMM) US on behalf of Swarga Foundation. There were over 500 participants, 140 dancers and performers from over 22 dance schools coming together to support our cause. We are grateful to Dr. Srinivasa KJ, Deputy counsel General of India, SFO for gracing this occasion. Our heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors, organizers and children who made the event a grand success. Celebrating fatherhood.
The very hands and shoulders that bore my weight during my younger days, are now as fragile as those of a child. It is our duty to now take care of the child in him. It was once said, “The child is the father of man”. Today, the time has come to care for the very arms that took care of me, with love and patience.

Swarga Foundation acknowledges the need for care and empathy towards people affected from neurological disorders and their limitations. We strive to make a better world for them.
A short film titled, “APPA”, to create awareness about Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease was launched on Social Media.
