CALENDAR 2019 | Swarga Foundation

Swarga Foundation is proud to present the fourth edition of our calendar, I’m Special for 2019, featuring “Women of Substance” as the theme. The calendar showcases 12 women who have looked beyond themselves as disability rights activists, entrepreneurs, artists, writers, singers, beauty pageant winners, professionals, sportspersons and more. Most of them have won accolades from State and Central governments. They also lead successful lives as a daughter, parent, spouse or sibling. They challenge societal norms and are harbingers of change.

The proceeds from the sales of these calendars will go towards setting up a physiotherapy centre at Coimbatore for patients with neuromuscular disorders. Do support us in bringing hope and smiles in the lives of many.

Corporate orders of 100 or more can be booked with the company logo, name and address on the calendar at an additional extra cost. No shipping charges for 100 calendars or more. The calendars are available for Rs.300 each for both desktop and wall-hanging options. Packing and shipping costs at Rs.50 for every two calendars (individual orders). All donations are entitled to tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.

I’m Special 2019 Calendar Launch

Swarga Foundation celebrated its 4th anniversary on September 29, 2018 at the Residency, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore. It has been a glorious journey starting from a humble beginning by a couple to a core team of six members and helped by a large group of donors, volunteers, friends and well-wishers.

We have welcomed two more members of repute to our core team. Dr. Arul Selvan, Senior Neurologist, KMCH Hospital and Shri. Vaidya Prasad, Principal and Medical Superintendent, Ashtamgam Ayurveda College and Hospital. They will be advising us in the nature of treatment, patients could follow for a better management of their health.

We are also proud to present our calendar I’m Special 2019, featuring 12 achievers who have managed to excel in their respective fields. We call them “Women of Substance”. The 12 inspiring women are Prerana Sahane, Preethi Srinivasan, Dr. Rajalakshmi S J, Ashla Rani MP, Mrunmaiy Aboral, Madhavi Latha Prathigudupu, Dr. Ketna L Mehta, Sujatha Burla, Gauri Shekar Gadgil, Dr. Divya Bijur, Dr. Malvika Iyer and Swarnalatha J.

The photography, videography, design and concept of the Calendar were by Anand Daga from Matrix Media Productions (i) Pvt. Ltd.

The evening was presided over by His Holiness Dr. Santhalinga Marudachala Adigalar from Perur Adheenam, Sri. Balchand Bothra, Chairman, Mahaveers and Sri. Periaiah, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore.

The audience were treated to melodious songs by Dr. Divya Bijur, Swarnalatha, Baby Gaana and Bharadwaj accompanied by Dr. Navveen on the guitar. A graceful dance by Ms. Prerana Sahane guided by her guru, Ms. Shumitha Mahajan, enthralled the crowd.
